CHRIS VLASTO
CHRIS VLASTO is co-founder of Haven Strategies, a full service communications consulting
firm. Vlasto specializes in both client promotion and protection through reputation management, crisis consulting, message development, and content creation. He has
worked with private equity firms, political PACS, NFL athletes, music producers, media companies and high profile individuals.
What makes Vlasto an exceptional consultant is his vast experience as an insider. A 30
year veteran of ABC television network news, he has rare insight into the inner workings
of the news industry. This gives him the unique ability to position his clients, customize
often complex narratives, and tailor messaging. Vlasto knows when and how to get his
clients either onto the front page or off.
As the former Executive Producer of Good Morning America, Vlasto's expertise producing
stories on a local, national and international scale make him a stand out in storytelling and
content creation across the board. He won countless Emmy Awards as the broadcast’s
Executive Producer and as the head of ABC News Investigations, in both cases leading large
teams in the coverage of high stakes news stories in Washington DC, Wall Street, and
Hollywood.
An investigative reporter by trade, he also broke some of the biggest stories in recent
American history, including those surrounding President Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky,
9/11, Enron, and Jeffrey Epstein to name a few. His work appeared across the network’s
flagship shows, Good Morning America, 20/20, Nightline and World News Tonight, earning
him some of the most prestigious awards in the industry, including the Joan Barone Award and
the Edward R. Murrow Award. He also collaborated closely with some of the biggest talents in the business, among them, the late Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer, George Stephanopoulos, Robin Roberts and Chris Cuomo.
